KIWANIS CLUB SAN MARINO AT THE GRAND HOTEL IN RIMINI

Press release from the Kiwanis Club San Marino with Alessandra Luti

MONACO. Following the appeal of the Kiwanis Club San Marino and president Mihaela Anghel we are happy to publish and forward the Press Release about the annual charity event.

“It is now just over a month to November 13, when the historic Grand Hotel in Rimini will host the annual convivial evening of the Kiwanis Club San Marino. Invited by the President of the Club Mihaela Anghel, guest of honor as well as event planner and speaker of the evening will be Mr. Ilio Masprone, journalist-publisher from Turin also known as organizer of international events and founder, among his many initiatives, also of some historical editions based in the Principality of Monaco. The glossy and increasingly luxurious multilingual magazine Il Foglio Italiano di Monte-Carlo (recently Re-titled MyItaly) and created in 1995 was followed by the Italian French monthly tabloid MonteCarloTimes-Les Nouvelles. In 2005 H.S.H. Prince Albert II awarded Mr. Masprone Knight of the Principality of Monaco for cultural merits, and it is precisely the mainly cultural and life-style contents of the politically independent Mr.Masprone’s newspapers and websites that nowadays reach the glittering Principality of Monaco as well the rest of the world also on the social network.

About events, for ten years Mr. Masprone has also been the creator and organizer of the Gala evening that anticipates the long-awaited Italian Song Festival of Sanremo, which this year will take place live from 1st to 5th February 2022. After two years of interruption due to the pandemic, we all are looking forward to participating in presence on February 4 to the “Gran Gala della Stampa del Festival” – The Festival Press Grand Gala – at the Municipal Casino Roof Garden of the City of Flowers, because it will be the occasion for the City Mayor to deliver the “DietroLeQuinte” – Backstage – and the “Numeri Uno-Città di Sanremo” – Sanremo’s Number One – Awards largely coveted by the Music& Entertainment Press, TV and Social Media reporters of the Sanremo’s Festival Week. In the same way Mr. Masprone organisation promises some valuable moments will take place during the Kiwanis Club San Marino event at the Rimini Grand Hotel.  Mr. Masprone confided the venue’s choice  is due to his youthful memories, dating back to his first steps in the world of music, journalism and art. Maestro Fellini’s magical home town was important for Mr.Masprone’s cultural path. We are sure he will charm the audience with the story of his life experiences (which he is collecting in an autobiographical book), in an evening aimed at promoting solidarity and providing an altruistic service to improving the world, a child and one community at a time.”

SAN MARINO. Kiwanis International is a global community of clubs, members and partners dedicated to improving the lives of children one community at a time. Delegates approved the six permanent Objects of Kiwanis at the 1924 Kiwanis International Convention in Denver, Colorado. They have remained unchanged through the decades. They read:

Joining Kiwanis provide with the opportunity for fellowship that is often lacking in a busy world, and to make lifetime friendships based on mutual interest and the shared joy of doing for others. It enables to share ideas and opinions with others who wish to make the world a better place in which to live, and to participate in an informal exchange of ideas on a wide range of topics. It helps to develop leadership skills by enabling you to serve a Kiwanis Club in positions of responsibility.  It provides the opportunity to help train tomorrow’s leaders through Kiwanis’ unique Sponsored Youth Programs. It helps broaden your general knowledge by providing speakers on scores of interesting subjects during club meetings. It provides the good feeling that comes from knowing you have personally helped your community and its people, and the knowledge that the effort of everyone really counts.   Kiwanis is present in 82 countries and geographic areas with over 16,000 clubs. Together with the young people of the K-Kids, Builders Club, Key Club, CKI and Aktion Club, Kiwanis has over 600,000 members, creating a large worldwide network of talents, skills and experiences. Volunteering then is the great spring that makes up the great Kiwanian who annually donates more than 18.5 million hours of volunteer work and invests more than 107 million dollars in communities around the world. Normally, each year the clubs sponsor over 150,000 projects for children. Service is therefore the heart of every Kiwanis International club, wherever it is in the world.
