FROM VALENTINE’S DAY ONWARD IN THE “3A LA COLLECTION” IN NICE
by Eleonora Pedron with Mickaël Mugnaini
NICE. With 384 rooms, 1420m ² of seminar spaces spread over 18 rooms, 3 restaurants and 3 bars, the group “3a La Collection” is one of the most influential hotel groups in Nice. It brings together the Aston La Scala Hotel, the Beau Rivage Hotel and the West End Hotel, all 3 built between 1842 and 1868.
All three classified 4 *, the establishments of the group 3a the Collection benefit from the most emblematic sites of the city of Nice such as the Promenade du Paillon, the old Nice and the famous promenade.
For Valentine’s Day, they decided to give the Azuréens (as well as to the tourists) three greedy reasons to celebrate love.
Cocktails, dinner with a view, spectacle, chocolate, there will be for all tastes!
“Aston my love” at the Aston La Scala Hotel
Built in 1868, the Aston La Scala Hotel was offered the most beautiful urban view of the city of Nice when the Promenade du Paillon was created in 2011. In addition to its 149 rooms, the 4 * Hotel offers Mediterranean cuisine in the restaurant L’Horloge located on the Avenue Félix Faure with a warm and heated terrace to enjoy a candlelight dinner.
Seven floors above, the Matisse Lounge offers a unique panoramic view in Nice overlooking the Promenade du Paillon, the Old Town and the Ferris wheel of Piazza Masséna. For Valentine’s Day, chef Thierry Coutable will invest these two spaces to offer lovers two different ways to taste his “Aston My Love” menu imagined for the occasion.
To accompany this creamy dinner, the Aston La Scala Hotel has appealed to two artists singers: Clotilde Rullaud and Rebecca will perform in turn the most beautiful songs of love throughout the evening, for a Valentine’s Day in music of the most romantic as the hotel Aston la Scala knows so well.

The most arty hotel in the city of Nice has seen since its creation in 1860 the most famous artists and intellectuals such as Fitzgerald, Chekov and especially Henri Matisse who stayed there for many months in 1917. Today, the Beau Rivage Hotel continues to welcome artists from around the world in temporary exhibitions. Hotel Beau Rivage offers 114 rooms, 5 seminar rooms, a cocktail bar and a patio of 135m ², a real haven of peace in the old town of Nice.
On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, the Hotel Beau Rivage offers a gourmet stay to all its visitors. Nicolas Robini, chief bartender who has been there for many years, has imagined a double ephemeral creation which will be offered at the hotel bar throughout the month of February.

“Opera Night” at the West End Hotel
First establishment built on the Promenade des Anglais in 1842, the Hotel West End offers an architectural style Belle Epoque. The 121 rooms happily mix the requirements of today and the charm of the XIX century, half of which offer a view of the sea. At its feet, the restaurant Le Siècle on the Promenade tickles both the tourists and Nice guests with a Mediterranean map imagined by its chef Tanguy L’Yvonnet. For Valentine’s Day, the West End Hotel invites the Opera for an evening that will awaken all senses of its guests. By tasting the menu specially imagined for the occasion, they will be able to applaud the lyric artists who will mingle with the servers and interpret several great classics of the music in between dishes. This original experience had already surprised and captivated the many guests who came to celebrate New Year’s Eve. Valentine’s Day lovers will be just as delighted.
