Moreover, for the 2019 edition, the Monegasque Athletics Federation associates the best meeting of the world 2018 at Monaco Run and launches the 5km Herculis! All day long, the competitors will run on the Louis II Stadium just before the Herculis-Diamond League.

Last but not least, the 8th traditional Walk Pink Ribbon Monaco will take place at 10:15 am on 17th February 2019. Through its actions, the Pink Ribbon Monaco aims to raise awareness on methods of early breast cancer detection and prevention through various campaigns and events.  Pink Ribbon Monaco works closely with medical professionals to provide assistance and support when and where it is needed. With the backing and guidance of the Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace, we will target the areas in need of assistance.

Our breast cancer awarness campaigns aim to educate the general public on prevention and early detection, support patients and celebrate life to the fullest while promoting well-being and a healthy lifestyle! The funds are distributed in research and screening centres. As a matter of fact, a new ultrasound breast imaging/screening service has been inaugurated at the Princess Grace Hospital in Monaco. The new technology optimises early detection of breast cancer as well as reducing the amount of radiation necessary for diagnosis.

As the 8th Pink Ribbon Monaco Walk is getting closer, your participation is requested to join this great demonstration of solidarity in the Principality! As the years roll by, the Walk has gained in momentum and attendance, except last year and the terrible weather that prevented many participations. This year, the Pink Ribbon Monaco Walk launches a brand new circuit passing through Casino terrace as well as the Palace, and a whole new range of events, including several 1000 meter dashes and participation of the Laureus awards.
