The hotel was renovated by Jean-Michel Wilmotte who developed a playful relationship between materials and spaces. The marriage of wood and stone, mineral and organic, generates warm and luxurious atmospheres. You will find everything you need for a perfect stay: great location, attentive, friendly service, luxurious rooms, and a private beach with a restaurant which backs onto the sea. Behind the elegant 19th century façade you will find a hotel full of personality.

Le Beau Rivage was one of the first seaside hotels in Nice in the continuation of Promenade des Anglais. At the time, it was a favourite of artists and intellectuals such as Matisse, Fitzgerald, Nietzsche or Chekhov. The Beau Rivage Hotel was built in 1860 by the architect Victoire Schmitz. In 1984, Georges-Xavier Marguerita transformed the facade and its interiors, half of which became dedicated to housing. In 2004, the hotel is completely renovated by Jean-Michel Wilmotte, architect of the Hotel Mandarin Oriental in Paris, du Musée National du Sport and of the Allianz Riviera in Nice. Discover our unique interiors: throughout the hotel,. Pebbles and polished stones – symbols of Beau Rivage – feature as a recurrent theme throughout the hotel. You will find pebble motifs evoking the beaches of Nice in the sofas with their Livingstone pebble cushions designed by Stéphanie Marin, the lamps by Céline Wright and the tables which were tailor-made for this boutique hotel by the artist Bernard Reyboz.

 

THE ROOMS

Boutique-hotel Le Beau Rivage counts 114 plush, stylish rooms and suites. The wood, linen and bedding combine harmoniously with the many artists’ photographs and the typically Provençal louvered shutters. All rooms are non-smoking. The Classic 15 to 20 m² rooms and the 18 to 25 m² Superior rooms feature a double bed or two singles with duvets and pillows and suit 1/2 persons. The Premier 19 to 25 m² Patio rooms overlook the quiet, leafy, indoor patio. They feature a double bed or two singles with duvets and pillows. The 20 to 28 m² Executive rooms feature a king size bed or two singles with duvets and pillows. Like the Classic, the Superior and the Patio, these rooms come furnished with a 42″ flat-screen LED satellite TV, free Wi-Fi access, a direct phone line, adjustable air-conditioning system, mini-bar, hair dryer, desk, safe. The executive rooms come with a complimentary platter and Nespresso coffee machine, smartphone dock, Aromatherapy on request and a potential capacity for 3 people.

The 19 to 25 m² Deluxe Rooms with terrace overlook the quiet, leafy, indoor patio and enjoy access to a private terrace with deckchairs and a parasol. They feature a double bed or two singles with duvets and pillows. They come furnished with a 42″ flat-screen LED satellite TV, free Wi-Fi access, a direct phone line, adjustable air-conditioning system, mini-bar, hair dryer, desk, safe, complimentary platter and Nespresso coffee machine, smartphone dock, bathrobes and slippers. The 26 to 35 m² Terrace Junior Suite feature a king size bed or two singles with duvets and pillows. They enjoy access to a large private terrace with deckchairs, a garden area and a parasol. They come furnished with: a 42″ flat-screen LED satellite TV, free Wi-Fi access, a direct phone line, adjustable air-conditioning system, mini-bar, hair dryer, desk, safe, complimentary platter and Nespresso coffee machine, bathrobes and slippers. Aromatherapy and smartphone dock on request.Treat yourself to a gourmet breakfast!

We offer a selection of quality regional produce for a great start to the day. Our team welcomes you every morning from 7 to 10.30 am with a selection of hot and cold choices at the buffet bar at restaurant Les Galets. Housekeeping on request.

BEAU RIVAGE BEACH&RESTAURANT: Relax on the private Beau Rivage beach, 100 m from the hotel, and take a little time out to admire the Mediterranean. The only seaside restaurant open 7 days a week all year. The restaurant offers quality Mediterranean cuisine. You will find fresh products and home-made dishes. Your menu was re-designed in a constant concern for quality. We will make you discover the Mediterranean cuisine, its flavors, colors and we will also help you select the kind of wine that suits each meal chosen. Open from Noon till 3 pm.

 

THE PATIO: If you feel like taking a break, far from the chaos of the city, the hotel’s leafy indoor patio is a charming space to read, sip a drink, have a chat, and plan excursions in the heart of Nice.

THE SEMINAR SPACE: The Hotel Beau Rivage provides access to a private seminar space of four rooms for a total of 150 m² of meeting space, furnished with top of the range equipment that includes air conditioning, natural lighting (3 windows), video projector, HDMI/VGA socket, electric screen, sound equipment including speakers, wireless microphone, USB port, coffee machine with capsules at your discretion. The seminar space has private access to a leafy 200 m² indoor garden, with garden furniture creating a relaxing space. The new conference space has a capacity of up to 60 in a plenary room layout. You will also enjoy access to the private beach and its restaurant, the terrace and the bar lounge to host events or simply to relax.

At the heart of the Nice Cote D’Azur metropolis, this is the ideal place for team-building amongst colleagues or bringing together clients. The name Saleya Room on the 1st floor has been inspired by the caractheristic Cours Saleya, famous for hosting the beautiful flower market and a much sought after flea market every monday. Find inspiration in the bright, elegant, spacious and calm 60 m² Saleya room. It has capacity of up to 60 people in lecture setup or 30 people in a horseshoe layout and provides access to the leafy indoor garden. The communicating 20 m² Chaise Bleue Room (Blue chairs room) is ideal for small meetings (10 people in a horseshoe layout). Its minimal design invites you to reflect and relax with its direct access to the leafy patio. The communicating 20 m² Galets Room (galets is the name of the Nice beach round stones) provides a charming setting for your meetings and allows you to relax whenever you want with its direct access to the leafy patio furnished for your comfort. The Opéra Room on the Ground Floor is named after Nice Opera which is just three minutes from the hotel. With a floor area of 50 m², it has capacity of up to 50 people in lecture setup or 25 people in a horseshoe layout.
