THE 4th MONTE CARLO POLO CUP 2016 INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT

In 2013, Francesco Mitrano founded the Polo Federation of the Principality of Monaco, the only Monegasque Federation recognized by the Federation of International Polo. This fan of Polo also launched the first edition of the Monte Carlo Polo Cup, an international tournament under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco. This high level competition brings together sportsmen in the heights of Monaco, in a privileged setting of greenery, for uncompromising games. After the enthusiasm of the three previous editions, cocktails of glamour and emotions, the Monte Carlo Polo Cup took off in 2016 to provide an international tournament from September 15 to 18 at the Domaine de Vire-Vent. Aiming to become a sports event of the first order, the Monte Carlo Polo Cup cleverly combines sport and social events in the mythical places that have built the reputation of the Principality. The opening ceremony, a parade of the knights on the famous Place du Casino privatized for the occasion, sets the pace for the rest of the event. The Club had the pleasure of welcoming S.A.S the Prince of Monaco and Princess Charlene in a hard-fought final. The Club especially thanks the main sponsor, Elena Sivoldaeva exclusive.
